Tokens

In creating the Tokens installation I take a new and more rewarding direction than my earlier environmental art. I focus on the positive instead of the problems. Research led me to a young company, Ecovative, that created biodegradable packaging made with mushroom-based materials, and used by companies such as IKEA and Crate and Barrel, instead of plastics like Styrofoam. Instead of painting on wood panels, I used this packaging alternative to raise awareness about practical biodegradable materials.
