I kept reading about the volume of fishing gear abandoned in the ocean and its disastrous effect on sea plans and animals. This scroll is imprinted with abandoned gear I found as I walked on beaches. It was at this time that my focus on climate problems became so depressing that I was compelled to switch to focus on the positive approaches to sustaining instead of destroying the Earth.
